Objective: The objective of the analysis is to assess the occupational risk of various types of economic activity inKazakhstan by analysing statistics on work-related injuries and fatalities, as well as occupational diseases. The aim is to identify the most hazardous sectors and occupations, and to make recommendations for the development of effective prevention and intervention strategies to reduce the incidence of work-related injuries, illnesses and fatalities. Method: Gathering reliable and comprehensive data on work-related injuries, fatalities, and occupational diseases across different industries and sectors in Kazakhstan. In research paper involved obtaining official data from government agencies and conducting surveys or interviews with workers, employers, and other stakeholders. Evaluating the level of occupational risk associated with different types of economic activity based on the data analysis results. This study involved using established frameworks such as the risk assessment matrix or the hierarchy of controls to identify and prioritize preventive measures. Findings: This research proposal aims to analyse the statistics on work-related injuries, fatalities, and occupational diseases in Kazakhstan to assess the occupational risk associated with various types of economic activity. The study based on a comprehensive review of official data and publications from the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Bureau of Statistics, and other relevant sources. The research identifies and analyses the most hazardous industries, sectors, and occupations in Kazakhstan and evaluate the effectiveness of existing policies, regulations, and practices in preventing work-related injuries, fatalities,and occupational diseases. The study also investigates the trends and patterns of work-related injuries and illnesses inKazakhstan over the past few years and compare them with regional and international benchmarks. The research findings provide valuable insights into the current state of occupational health and safety in Kazakhstan and helpidentify the key areas where further interventions are needed to reduce the incidence of work-related injuries and illnesses. The study also contributes to the development of evidence-based policies and strategies to improve the occupational health and safety of Kazakhstani workers and promote sustainable economic growth. Conclusion Based on the analysis of Kazakhstan's statistics on work-related injuries and fatalities and occupational diseases, it can be concluded that certain economic activities pose higher occupational risks than others. The objective of this study was to assess the occupational risk of various types of economic activity in Kazakhstan. The data analysis revealed thatindustries such as construction, mining, and manufacturing have higher

rates of work-related injuries, fatalities, and occupational diseases compared to other industries. Therefore, it is crucial forpolicymakers, employers, and workers to prioritize safety measures and implement effective occupational health andsafety policies in these high-risk industries to reduce work-related injuries, fatalities, and occupational diseases. Thisstudy provides valuable insights for policymakers and stakeholders in formulating policies and strategies for ensuring a safer and healthier work environment in Kazakhstan.
